Today and everyday, keep faith with with the men and women of all generations who have served our country. Please actively and tangibly support efforts to end chronic homelessness among veterans, provide employment opportunities for veterans, improve the Veterans Administration (VA) healthcare system and VA services in general. Connecticut is a leader in the effort to eliminate chronic homelessness among veterans, but greater progress is needed nationwide. Words are important, but a better way to thank our veterans is with real advocacy and action to provide and improve the life-long support services they have earned and which our nation is honor-bound to provide.
